CREDA is a private research center supported by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA) and was founded out of the need to formalize a public Catalan research and development body in the agro-food sector. Main research area at CREDA includes: 1) Study of consumer preferences and consumer behaviour towards
agricultural-based products 2) Competitiveness of Mediterranean agriculture and livestock sector 3) Sustainability of food systems and value chain.
