SureNexus to Host Stakeholder Platform Meeting and AI Training Course in Morocco
Kenitra, Morocco – July 2025 – The SureNexus project, funded under the PRIMA programme, is proud to announce a two-day hybrid event in Kenitra, Morocco, designed to strengthen Nexus-based collaboration and capacity building. The event includes a Stakeholder Platform (SHP) Meeting on July 23, 2025, followed by an AI Training Course on Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus modelling on July 24, 2025, both hosted at INRA Kenitra.
The Stakeholder Platform Meeting will bring together key actors from Morocco’s water, energy, food, and ecosystems sectors, alongside experts in governance, ICT, and regional development. The objective is to foster multi-actor dialogue, address implementation barriers, and advance shared strategies for sustainable and climate-resilient Nexus transitions.

The agenda is designed to strengthen the Moroccan Stakeholder Platform, provide updated insights into climate impacts and Nexus policy pathways, and encourage regional collaboration. Participants will also be introduced to the SureNexus online platform and invited to join the initiative through a formal letter of adhesion.
🔹 AI Training Course (July 24)
The second day will offer a hands-on training session on AI tools for WEFE Nexus decision support. Participants will gain exposure to:

Practical applications tailored to regional resource challenges
This training supports capacity-building for integrated planning and supports the adoption of digital tools for resilient resource governance.
Call for Participation
All stakeholders interested in water, energy, agriculture, ecosystems, and digital governance are invited to register. Participation is free of charge, but spaces for in-person attendance are limited and will be allocated based on relevance and order of registration.
A participation form and formal adhesion to the Stakeholder Platform will be shared with confirmed attendees.
