Unlocking a Sustainable Future for Tinos Island
Press release for translation and dissemination to the media.
Tinos Ecolodge, in partnership with Planet and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), is thrilled to extend an invitation to an enlightening day of workshops focusing on the future of sustainable ecotourism in the enchanting island of Tinos, Greece. This dynamic event, organized under the banner of the SureNexus project (www.surenexus.eu), seeks to answer the question: How can tourism, nature-based solutions, and agricultural production coalesce to foster a sustainable future? This is the first of the 4 workshops that will be implemented at the 4 SureNexus project demonstrators, with two goals: (1) to discuss the enabling factors and barriers related to the adoption of WEFE approaches, and (2) to select the most suitable Nature-based Solutions and Bioeconomy practices that fit to the context and can enhance the functions of each Demonstrator.
