12th International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Management (13-16 September 2023, Iasi, Romania)
SureNexus will participate in the ICEEM 12 conference, the 12th International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Management (13-16 September 2023, Iasi, Romania). The conference focuses on Circular Economy and Sustainability, two concepts which are intertwined with the WEFE nexus as it expressed through the SureNexus Demo Sites.
Dr. Simos Malamis from SureNexus partner National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is a keynote speaker at the conference. Prof. Malamis will deliver a plenary lecture entitled “Decentralized wastewater management and resource recovery: experiences, challenges and opportunities”.
Dr. Josué González-Camejo from SureNexus partner Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) will present on the “Selection of Best Bio-Based Practices For WEFE Nexus Application”. This work is a collaboration of NTUA and UNIVPM, and presents a methodology for selecting the most suitable BES/NBS to 4 different case studies (the 4 SureNexus Demonstrators) in the Mediterranean region under the WEFE Nexus principles.
The conference is organized by the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, Romania, Department of Environmental Engineering and Management, and the Politecnica delle Marche University, Ancona, Italy, Department of Science and Engineering of Materials, Environment and Urban Planning.
